About me
I am a freelance translator with a professional background in international relations and the
cultural field.
I like exploring new areas and delving deeper into different subjects through the texts I translate.
My career in a nutshell
After graduating from law and language schools (in Grenoble, Freiburg and Geneva), I turned to the cultural sector. For 12 years, I have carried out several missions with the greatest pleasure, from the Foreign Affairs ministry to the Rhône-Alpes Agency for performing arts, a “Culture and Disability” programme, or the music festival Printemps de Bourges.
In 2013, while enjoying a family expatriation in Atlanta (USA), I followed my renewed interest for linguistics and writing and I decided to pursue a master’s degree in translation. I have been working as a professional translator for over eight years now, and I enjoy it every day.
My clients are very diverse (international organisations, universities, translation agencies, lawyers, artists, festivals) and I know how to adapt to specific needs and constraints. My main fields of expertise cover the following: international law, UN agencies, European institutions, arts and culture, social sciences, communication and health.
In order to expand my knowledge and interact with other translation professionals, I joined the French Translators' Society (SFT), thereby committing to comply with their Code of Professional Conduct.
